@@tinahuegel Don't mind bigots like these. Unfortunately, we have many of them in Turkiye. They are so confused, they even cannot see they make no sense at all. In my opinion, their comment is equivalent to "why did you show tomatoes and potatoes in your video? They are not Turkish vegetables; they are originally from South America?" or "Why did you show the buildings in Istiklal Street in your video? That is not Turkish architecture,." What they do here is not even nationalism, it is racism and fascism. If they really cared about whether you were playing a Turkish music or not, they should have made the same objection to the Western tunes you played in the video. However, they didn't. Their problem is with the Muslims in the country and with Islam. Rather than saying this overtly, they circumvent and make nasty comments about Arabs and Arab culture. They think that saying rubbish like this makes them a modern, enlightened, cultured, and educated person. All the best.

The food is really really good! I'm glad I had my friend as a guide, bc I wouldn't have found most of those places without him. But also the food was surprisingly expensive. :) But I tried Turkish delight, because you told me about it. It's hard to just go to a cafe to get it, it's either free samples or you buy it for take away.
